We celebrated our boy this weekend with a few of his favorite things: tractors, 4wheelers, hay rides and lots of running around in wide open spaces.
My parents were kind enough to let us host the party at their house where we could take advantage of the country setting and let the kids choose pumpkins and pick apples. The weather was beyond gorgeous with blue skies and warm sunshine. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.
I, of course, was running around checking crockpots full of chili and refilling chip bowls and didn’t take a single photo from the day. Thanks to Libby and my mother-in-law Megan for sharing these sweet pictures.

I tried putting this post together last night but wordpress was acting funky and finally I gave up. Instead, I looked at pictures from the last 18 months and tears pricked the back of my eyes as I watched my boy transform from a baby to toddler to nearly a full-blown kid right there on the computer screen.
To say I love him and enjoy him and can’t get enough of him doesn’t even scratch the surface.

Happy Birthday Jack.
You make your Dad and I insanely proud. We love you to the moon and back again.
