What started with Cheerios a week or so ago has turned into some serious interest in eating ‘real’ food. We’ve moved from the benign breakfast cereal to more interesting items such as fresh and frozen blueberries and raspberries, cut up mango, diced banana, soft cooked carrots and tonight…pasta with spinach.
As I was trying to feed poor Jack some pured sweet potatoes, chicken and green beans, he was pathetically refusing and looking sadly at our dinner.
So, I scraped off the Parmesan cheese coating our pasta and wilted spinach, cut it up and gave it to him. He loved it! It was so fun to see him gobble it up and made me so excited to share new and different foods with him. (I’m not sure Aaron actually likes spinach as a 27-year-old adult…)
What a ham…
In house news, we are about a week away from moving. My house is destroyed and in complete chaos. There are boxes and piles scattered all over the house.
And although it doesn’t look like it, I’ve convinced myself we’re making progress.
Jack is a cutie. We just gave Ian spaghetti last night for the first time. He is SO into finger/real food as opposed to spoon feeding items (outside of oatmeal which is a favorite!).
Good luck with the move. : )
That kid needs a bib…your poor laundry!
So cute! YAY for hair too!
