Catching Up

Luke is 8 weeks old today. He’s getting chubby and very smiley; a winning combination if you ask me.

I think about this little space constantly. I love to write here yet lack the motivation and creativity it takes to stay consistent. I miss it when I take breaks. But, at the same time, my life feels full to the brim with two babies, my home, work and trying to fit in a few little things like laundry and a trip to the grocery store. And what’s more, my brain is empty. It’s hard enough to keep track of when the baby last nursed or which socks match much less putting together coherent sentences that might also be interesting or funny.

Instead of more nonsensical rambling how about a few pictures of what we’ve been up to lately.

This kid is a crack up and a bit of a trouble maker.

This baby doesn’t get his picture taken enough.

These are our days:

A little tummy time…

maybe some fun with friends…

and definitely some time in the garden

With the change in seasons just around the corner, maybe I’ll have renewed inspiration for my little corner of the internet.

Time is flying, isn’t it? I am so with you on so many things–finishing laundry, trying to remember when I last nursed, paying attention to everyone and everything. All of the lack of sleep and busy life we have here is catching up to me and Ian has started to become a real rascal. I am lacking in the discipline department! I’m trying to muster up enough energy to hit a grocery store. We’ll see! Have a good weekend!
