Little Turkey

We call Jack a turkey.

He’s a ‘turkey’ when he’s being precocious or silly or mischievous. It’s a term of endearment at our house and certainly explains 99 percent of his behavior.

We took family pictures the weekend he turned two. We had high hopes for a Christmas card picture and in my head I envisioned our sweet little family posing and preening for the camera, providing dozens of shots to choose from.

Ummm…yeah…our little turkey decided not to nap that day. He also doesn’t particularly love having his picture taken (so his father’s son), but even so, we got some great pictures.

And then there’s this little turkey, who has totally and completely stolen our hearts…

We can’t stop kissing those cheeks. Or eating his toes.

Oh little Luke, how you’ve changed our lives for the better. A perfect addition.

LOVE the pics! We have yet to take a formal family photo and I am so late on the Christmas card bandwagon…going to have to get creative and crafty to pull something off so that I have something to send out!

    Hope you all are well!
