A Little of This and That

First things first:

Mr. Magoo sleeps in a ‘big-boy bed.’

After battling with Jack at nap time (No Nigh-Nigh!!) for several days in a row, I threw in the towel. It can’t be much worse than what we were already dealing with, I told Aaron.

Turns out the kid just didn’t want to sleep in a crib anymore. Not to say it’s been all easy, all the time, but overall it’s been a success. We’ve even had a few mornings where he’s slept past 5:45am.

Hmmm…what else.

These two sweethearts really seem to be getting attached:

90 percent of the time, these two are completely adorable together. Jack bosses me around on where to lay Luke, what to do when Luke cries and hates that Luke is ALWAYS still asleep when he wakes up in the morning.

We are still working with Jack on his aggressive love (i.e. laying on him, smothering him, licking and shoving toys in his face) for his brother. But overall, they are very cute together.

Luke absolutely lights up for Jack and often if Luke is getting sick of tummy time or starting to fuss and I’m in the middle of doing something, I send Jack to entertain him and it almost always works.

Speaking of the little one, he loves yoga…or pilates…or whatever you might call this…

Last Saturday morning at 5:30 AM when I got to snuggle with Jack in his big boy bed was the best. It doesn’t get much better then that for Grandme!
