A Regular Saturday

The sun is shining and the air is warm on our winter skin. It doesn’t matter that the grass is dry and brown or that last year’s leaves blow at our feet. The sun feels so good that we crack the windows and sit on warm pavement as the boy runs and plays in the driveway. We walk through the flower beds looking for eager buds and dream of months from now when it’s green and alive again.

I love him. (even when he’s a turkey…which is almost all the time)

And oh how I love this one. The sweetest of sweet. My baby.

Even Rem had to soak up this rare warm day. He puttered happily alongside Jackson.

And what would a Saturday be around here without a trip to the hardware store. Aaron and Jack needed a few supplies for a ‘Daddy Project,’ as Jack refers to it and mama is dreaming and scheming once again.
